It involves collection of biological specimen by either sampling the breath, urine or blood. Qualitative assessment is appropriate for assessing whether there is an exposure issue or not and if there is one then more Quantitative assessments are available targeting the substance of concern. On assessments exact quantification of exposure(s) is accurately assessed and controls are implemented, adjusted and or modified for risk mitigation to minimize or remove any potential health hazards.
